Owls confirm Sears interest

Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed their interest in signing West Ham United youngster Freddie Sears.
Sears, 19, has been linked with a season-long loan switch to Hillsborough next season and Owls boss Brian Laws is hopeful of landing the promising striker.
However, Laws has conceded that there is plenty of interest in the England Under-20 international, with Peterborough United also believed to be in the running.
"We are in with a shout of signing Freddie but there are other clubs interested in him too," revealed Laws.
"Freddie is currently on holiday, but we will meet up again when he gets back."
