Sheffield Wednesday are closing in on signing West Ham striker Freddie Sears on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old had been in talks with Peterborough over a possible temporary move to London Road. However Posh director of football Barry Fry has been quoted suggesting that Sears has been told by the Hammers that he must join Wednesday.
