Laws fires Coughlan blast

Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws aimed a stinging verbal blast at Graham Coughlan after the former Owl left striker Marcus Tudgay with a worrying shoulder injury following Thursday's Carling Cup clash.
Wednesday won the first round encounter 3-1 at Millmoor, but Laws was seething after Coughlan - now the Rotherham captain - left Tudgay nursing an injury after a challenge in the opening minutes of the match.
"We are going to have a scan on his shoulder," Laws told the club's official website. "And when you actually see it on TV, its even worse.
"For whatever reason Graham Coughlan's got in his mind he was out there to go for the player and not for the ball.
"He might say something different, but it's quite clear there's some aggression in there and a follow-through and he also did it in the first couple of minutes against Deon Burton.
"That's something that the whole Football Association and refereeing is supposed to stamp out.
"I haven't seen those kind of tackles for the last decade. I am very disappointed because our player could be out for weeks."
