Jeffers transfer-listed by Owls

Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has placed former England striker Francis Jeffers on the transfer list.Jeffers, 29, was sent off for a head-butt during his side's 2-0 Carling Cup defeat by Port Vale on Tuesday. Laws told the club website: "His conduct was totally unacceptable and something this club will not tolerate.
