Hinds happy with Woods

Sheffield Wednesday's Richard Hinds believes the ongoing dispute between the club and team-mate Richard Wood is not affecting the Owls' form.

Wood has so far refused to sign a new deal with his current one running out in the summer and manager Brian Laws has placed him on the transfer list.

He made his return to the first team at the weekend when he replaced Frank Simek with 18 minutes remaining and was jeered by supporters.

However, Hinds is unconcerned, telling The Sheffield Star: "It doesn't affect the boys. It's between the manager, the chairman and Richard Wood. It's nothing to do with us as players.

"Woody isn't a player who's going around sulking - he always tries his best whatever he does and, as a team-mate, that's all you can ask. He puts his body on the line when he plays and that's what you want."
