Grant keen to stay with Owls

Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant has insisted he is ready to stay at the club despite their relegation from the Championship this term.

The Owls suffered final day heartache after a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at Hillsborough resulted in relegation but, with two-years remaining on the shot-stopper's contract, he intends to see it through.

Speaking to the Sheffield Star, he said: "As far as I am concerned, I've still got two more seasons on my contract so until someone tells me otherwise that is what I will be concentrating on.

"I am fully focused on getting fit and ready to play a big part in a winning team next year.

"I'm concentrating on getting ready for pre-season training and leading the charge in League One."
