Enoch joins up with Owls

Sheffield Wednesday have landed Bristol City striker Enoch Showunmi on a short-term loan deal.

Showunmi, 25, recently turned down the chance to join League One side Leeds United and will now remain with the Owls until March 1.

The former Luton Town striker has made 17 appearances for the Robins this season but has been allowed to join their Championship rivals.

The striker is out of contract at Ashton Gate at the end of the current season.

However, he will be ineligible to face his parent club when the Owls travel to Ashton Gate on February 9.
