Crossley keen to stay

Veteran goalkeeper Mark Crossley is keen to extend his loan stay at Sheffield Wednesday. The 37-year-old Fulham shot-stopper hopes to agree a deal that will keep him at Hillsborough until the end of the season after enjoying his first month at the Championship club. "I'm loving every minute of it," he told the Owls' official website. "We're not too far away. I think Fulham have agreed to let me come on loan until the end of the season, but I'd like to make the move longer and go for 18 months. "Fulham do want a 24-hour recall in case anything drastic happens but they've assured me they wouldn't call me back unless it was drastic." The former Nottingham Forest star has kept two clean sheets in six appearances for Wednesday.
