Clarke signs up with Owls

Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has snapped up Leon Clarke after the Wolves striker was made available for transfer last week.
The 21-year-old made 83 appearances for Wolves, scoring 15 goals, but struggled to become a first-team regular under current boss Mick McCarthy.
Laws is pleased to make Clarke his first signing since being named Owls boss, telling the club's official website: "I believe Leon will be a great acquisition to the team.
"He gives me a different option up front to those we currently have, which will enable me to change things when required."
