Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock was delighted after seeing his side clinch their first Premiership victory of the season with a last-gasp winner against Middlesbrough.
Blades skipper Phil Jagielka smashed home a superb 30-yarder late on to down Boro 2-1 at Bramall Lane and leave Warnock a happy man.
He said: "I thought we deserved it.
"We've now got the monkey off our back and for us the season now starts from here.
"We said we wanted to get a win to get our season up and running and that's exactly what we have done.
"I cannot put into words just how big this win is, it's massive! We made hard work of it and had a little bit of fortune with missed chances.
"We've some tough matches coming up now, but if we can stay in the hunt for the next few weeks, then after that there are winnable games."
