Sheffield United matchwinner Danny Webber thinks that his side are finally beginning to believe in themselves, following the 1-0 victory at Newcastle United.

Webber's first goal of the season secured a crucial win for the Blades and the striker believes his side can build on that result to move towards safety.

He told the Sheffield Star: "We've taken the points and we've proved a few as well.

"I think we know now that we're good enough to come to these places and ask some questions of our own.

"It's a great feeling not only to get off the mark myself, but also to get that first win away from Bramall Lane.

"There's been a definite shift in thinking lately. Perhaps we were a little bit too concerned with restricting teams when we first came up, but now what we try to do is try to force the issue ourselves.

"We were more attack-minded here and that paid off. Now we can try to press on with confidence."
