    Warnock seeks to shock

    14 Mar 2007 - 14:27:12

Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock is hoping to help his side make history by becoming the first team to inflict a home Premiership defeat on Chelsea in the Jose Mourinho era.

The Blues last suffered a Stamford Bridge league reverse against Arsenal in February 2004, but Warnock is aware that that record must eventually come to an end.

He told the Sheffield Star: "I'm actually quite glad they didn't lose against Spurs in the FA Cup on Sunday.

"Chelsea have gone something like 60 odd games at home without being beaten in normal time, but there always has to be a first time doesn't there.

"Anyone involved in this business will tell you that you always have one of those results in a lifetime.

"And I don't think they'll be too bothered about little old Sheffield United."

The Blades are currently seven points clear of the bottom three with nine games to play for all of the strugglers apart from Manchester City.
