Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock hopes to arrange a loan move for Mamadou Seck who has struggled to break into the Blades first-team since signing for the club last month.
The 27-year-old Senegalese defender has yet to make a first-team appearance for United since his transfer from Le Havre.
"I'd like to see if I can get Mamadou some matches," Warnock told the Sheffield Star.
"I'd like to see if I can let him go somewhere on a temporary basis, because I think it would help him settle into English football."
Seck, who has played five times for his country, penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with Warnock's side in January.
He has spent most of his career in France, enjoying spells with Toulouse, Nimes, Ajaccio and Le Havre, although he did play for Turkish side Kayserispor in the 2005-06 campaign.
