Simmo goes straight in for Blades

Published: 19 Mar 2010 - 10:17:00

Simonsen joined the Blades on a month's loan from Stoke on Friday after Mark Bunn was recalled by parent club Blackburn following an injury to Paul Robinson. Skipper Chris Morgan will complete his two-game ban, so Nyron Nosworthy should continue alongside Marcel Seip in central defence. Midfielder Lee Williamson (hamstring) and on-loan Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley (food poisoning) returned to the substitutes' bench in midweek and could feature in Blackwell's plans. But on-loan Fulham full-back Toni Kallio (calf), Jamie Ward (hamstring) and Ched Evans (collarbone) are still out, as are long-term absentees Gary Naysmith and Ryan France (both knee) and Derek Geary (ankle).
