Ryan: We are keen on Sharp

Sharp, 23, who arrived on loan from neighbours Sheffield United on a season-long loan on September 1, has fired eight goals in his last seven matches for Rovers. Ryan told the Doncaster Free Press: "There's not a lot I can say on the subject really, other than, as a fan myself, I would love to see him here on a permanent basis. "As far as I'm aware Billy has said he would like to see out his loan spell at the club until the end of the season because he's enjoying it so much and will make a decision about his future then. "He still has another year left on his contract at Sheffield United after this season, but if he does become available in the summer, we will certainly be throwing our hat into the ring. "All I can say is we will be doing our best."
