Sheffield United are scheduled to travel to Crystal Palace in ten days time, but this fixture could be called off if the Eagles overcome a tough task and beat tonight's FA Cup opponents Aston Villa at Villa Park. fa cup trophy dressed in claret and blue! The Croydon based club drew 2-2 with Villa at Selhurst Park in round five; a late Stilian Petrov goal forced a replay in Birmingham and progress for the Championship side would set up a tie between the winners of Reading and West Bromwich Albion. Should the Eagles win in the Midlands it would mean that the Blades would once again see a weekend without any action. They saw their fixture at Peterborough United postponed just hours prior to kick-off last Saturday due to a frozen pitch. Crystal Palace, are due to host Sheffield United on Saturday, 6 March 2010.
