Monty misery for Blades

Sheffield United midfielder Nick Montgomery faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after having surgery on a troublesome ankle injury.
The 24-year-old has been struggling with the problem for over three years, according to Blades boss Neil Warnock.
Warnock told United's official website: "Nick has gone in for an operation on his ankle. It's been giving him some trouble and it just hasn't improved.
"It stems originally from when he was carried off at Anfield in the (Worthington Cup) semi-final (against Liverpool) three years ago.
"He had an X-ray at the time which revealed a bit of flaky bone, but the problem calmed down and it didn't require surgery.
"However, it flared up again recently following a kick and, despite him being able to take a rest during the international break, the surgeon decided to remove the bone and therefore stop the problem permanently."
Montgomery has made more than 200 appearances for United, his only club, since coming through the youth team ranks at Bramall Lane.
