Midfielder seeks Rovers exit

Published: 29 Aug 2009 - 14:55:19

The 20-year-old found a new lease of life since joining the Blades, after being frozen out at Ewood Park. Treacy, who netted his first goal for the Bramall Lane side against Leicester in early August, has called on Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce to resolve his future and end his frustrating time at Rovers. "I've been at Blackburn for three years without even playing," the Republic of Ireland Under-21 player told the Daily Star. "To be honest, I'm stuck in limbo there and it is so frustrating. I don't think I've had a fair crack of the whip and I'm trying to get out. "I'm on contract until the end of the season, but what happens to me is out of my hands. It's up to the gaffer, Sam Allardyce, to decide what he wants to do with me. "I'm happy at Sheffield. I'm enjoying my football here and certainly wouldn't have any qualms about staying at Bramall Lane. In fact, I'd love to come here permanently."
