Sheffield United chairman Kevin McCabe has warned potential bidders that defender Matthew Kilgallon will not be allowed to leave Bramall Lane on the cheap.
The 25-year-old former Leeds United stopper is a reported target for several Premier League clubs, but McCabe is determined to stand firm over a possible deal.
He told The Star: "The only way Matthew will be going anywhere is if we receive an offer that's acceptable to this club.
"If we don't then he will be staying for the remainder of his deal, it's as simple as that. If it's not right for us then nothing will be happening."
Kilgallon joined the Blades in January 2007 and has since scored four times in 121 appearances for the club.
