Leicester 2 Sheffield Utd 1: Morrison and Fryatt fire City back into play-offs

Leicester City confirmed their promotion credentials by completing the Sheffield double to move fourth in the Championship. Two weeks after beating Sheffield Wednesday, in their last league game, three points against United last night took them past Cardiff, Swansea and Blackpool and back into the play-offs, with two first-half goals. Michael Morrison broke the deadlock, heading home, after United goalkeeper Mark Bunn missed a Matt Oakley corner in the 26th minute. Leicester City's Michael Morrison gives his side the lead against Sheffield United Leicester doubled that lead nine minutes later when Matt Fryatt sent Bunn the wrong way from the penalty spot, after Fryatt had been brought down by Nick Montgomery, for his 12th goal of the season. Henri Camara put United back in the game at the start of the second half stabbing the ball home from close range, just after coming on. But even though Camara went close soon after, United, who were unbeaten in seven league games, missed the chance to continue their impressive recent run.  THE MIDLANDER: The good, the bad and the ugly: 2009 Midlands' awardsCoca-Cola Championship results, fixtures and more in our briliant Stats Zone
