Kenny taken off transfer list

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has had a change of heart and taken goalkeeper Paddy Kenny off the transfer list.

The 30-year-old shot-stopper is now in line to be offered a new Bramall Lane contract.

"We put Paddy on the list after he reported late for training," said Blackwell.

"But he's shown that he wants to stay here and we want him to stay as well.

"We're trying to sort out a new contract for him in the summer. I'm delighted because he's the best keeper in the Championship."
