Sheffield United goalkeeper Paddy Kenny has become the latest player to pledge his long-term future to the club, signing a new contract running until the summer of 2010.
The 29-year-old follows Nick Montgomery, Derek Geary and Alan Quinn in penning a new deal with the Blades, having been linked with a move back to the Premier League earlier in the summer.
Boss Bryan Robson told the club's official website: "I am delighted that Paddy has followed suit and is settled.
"He is happy to be playing with Sheffield United and I believe that I have got probably the best goalkeeper in the division.
"There was a lot of paper talk about Premier League clubs sniffing round, but he is first and foremost our player."
Kenny joined United in the summer of 2002 from Bury and has gone on to make well over 200 appearances for the Blades.
