Injury concern for Doyle

Captain Michael Doyle was substituted early into the first-half in United's 1:1 draw at Cowdenbeath this afternoon...
Goals from Chris Porter and Cowdenbeath's Jordan Morton ensured the spoils were shared between United and their Scotttish counterparts at Central Park, in what was David Weir's second game in charge as Blades boss, but the newly installed manager did show some concern for his injured midfielder in his post-match press briefing.
Weir said: "He felt a tightening in his thigh ten or 15 minutes into the game so we took him off as a precaution and hopefully it's nothing too major.
"We'll get him back to the hotel and assess him and we'll take it from there. I don't think it's anything too major; I hope it's nothing too major anyway."
Doyle has been just about an ever-present in United's starting eleven for the past two seasons and was installed as the club's captian in the process.
Meanwhile, Weir was happy with the run out his boys got against their Scottish First Division opponents.
"It was exactly what we wanted. We got at least 45 minutes into everybody and they reaped the benefits of that; it's a fitness exercise at this stage.
"We've been back in work for just short of two weeks so it's good for the players to get some minutes on the pitch."
United conclude their Scottish tour on Wednesday night when they face Raith Rovers.
