Geary happy to be back in action

A knee problem forced the full-back to miss around 18 months of first-team action, before an injury to fellow defender Kyle Walker gave Geary the chance to return to action with one appearance in November and a further two last month. He told the club's official website: "It is a massive relief to know that when the games come thick and fast I will be able to play if selected. "I'm starting to forget about the dark days that I have overcome during the last 18 months because it is such an exciting time at the moment. "Enjoying every game is what it is about for me now, and I just treat each match as if it is going to be my last because I know what it is like not to be playing."
