Sheffield United have completed the permanent signing of loan striker Richard Cresswell.
Cresswell, 32, has joined the Blades for an undisclosed fee from Stoke City after impressing during a three-month loan at Bramall Lane.
The former Sheffield Wednesday striker scored three goals in nine starts for the Bramall Lane club - including the winner against QPR on Sunday.
"You know what you get with Richard - it is 100 per cent every time he turns out and his knowledge of this division makes him an important presence for us," manager Kevin Blackwell told his club's official website.
Cresswell added: "This club is geared to the Premier League.
"I am sure we can mount a strong challenge for promotion in the second half of the season."
