The Blades' bid for a fourth successive win looked to be thwarted by a resolute Tykes side until John-Joe O'Toole broke the deadlock and substitute Arturo Lupoli made sure of the win with an 87th-minute second. "I thought we ground it out. At 0-0 there was only one team going to win," defender Bromby told the club's official website. "With the squad we've got you know someone is going to come on and produce goals for us."
