Sheffield United have completed the signing of veteran former England centre-half Ugo Ehiogu from SPL giants Rangers.
The 35-year-old stopper has penned a deal running until the end of next season at Bramall Lane, having slipped down the pecking order with the Gers.
Ehiogu told his former club's official website: "At my stage I need to be playing football.
"I've really enjoyed my time at Rangers. They are a massive club and I hope they go on to win the championship this season."
Gers boss Walter Smith added: "Ugo is at an age where he wants to be playing and he had a chance to sign for another year with Sheffield United, so he goes there with our best wishes."
Ehiogu has also played for Leeds United, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion during his career.
