Blades seal Cotterill deal

Wales international David Cotterill has moved from Wigan Athletic to Sheffield United on a three-month loan arrangement.

Blades boss Bryan Robson moved quickly to snap up the 20-year-old forward, who has made only ten starts for the Latics since moving to the JJB Stadium from Bristol City in the summer of 2006.

Cotterill made his name at Ashton Gate scoring nine goals in 66 appearances for the Robins before then Wigan boss Paul Jewell signed him for £2million.

He becomes United's fifth new arrival of 2008 following the captures of Gary Speed, Ugo Ehiogu, Lee Martin and Goran Slavkovski.
