Blades ponder Kozluk loan

Sheffield United full-back Rob Kozluk could join Derby County on loan before the end of the month, according to Blades boss Neil Warnock.

The 29-year-old is yet to feature for United this season and is reportedly keen to return to the club where he started his career.

Warnock is ready to allow Kozluk to join the Rams, but only on a short-term loan deal.

"Derby contacted us before the transfer deadline and they've been in touch with us afterwards as well," he told The Sheffield Star.

"They're obviously interested in taking Rob and it's something I'd consider very carefully.

"But it would only be on loan for a month and only after the Arsenal game (on September 23)."

Meanwhile, United's record signing Claude Davis is set to make his debut against Reading on Saturday after proving his fitness in a midweek reserve game against Middlesbrough.
