Blades extend sponsorship deal

The club have agreed a "significant six-figure deal" after a successful first season of the sponsorship deal. Chief executive Jason Rockett said: "We are delighted to renew. This is a true partnership where both parties have been pro-active and will continue to deliver added value. "Sheffield United have not only been able to promote tourism to Malta but to also look at other opportunities to benefit both parties. "Our international strategy is starting to pay dividends. We intend to further develop football, business and tourism opportunities for Malta through our international network of partnerships." MTA chief executive officer Josef Formosa Gauci added: "We are very glad to be renewing the sponsorship agreement and extending our relationship with Sheffield United."
