Blades capture loanee Bunn

Sheffield United have snapped up goalkeeper Mark Bunn on a one-month loan deal from Blackburn Rovers.

The 24-year-old has made just one appearance for Rovers since his arrival from Northampton Town and spent a month out on loan at Leicester City last season.

Meanwhile, Blades boss Kevin Blackwell has admitted that he felt that he had no option other than to offer to resign at the end of last season.

He told Sky Sports News: "I wasn't questioning my future, I just felt it was honourable for me to offer my head on a plate, because I felt I hadn't taken the club to where it should have gone into the Premier League.

"I think too many people that are in important positions don't ever put themselves up to be questioned. I felt that's what I should do.

"I was delighted that the chairman and the fans were adamant that I should stay."
