Blades blunt Bury in friendly

Leigh Bromby opened the scoring in the 29th minute when he headed Jamie Ward's cross home from close range. Blades boss Kevin Blackwell made six changes at the break, with new signings Ryan France and Keith Treacy coming on for their debuts, but it was fellow sub Jordan Robertson who doubled the lead after running on to a pass from trialist Glen Little. The youngster then grabbed his second with two minutes remaining when he shot home off the far post.
