New Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has warned his players he will not tolerate a lack of commitment.
The Blades were held to a 1-1 draw at QPR at the weekend and afterwards Blackwell revealed the warning he has given his under-performing squad since replacing Bryan Robson in the Bramall Lane hot-seat earlier this month.
He said: "I think one or two have had a bit of a culture shock already about what I expect from them.
"I won't tolerate someone missing a tackle or not putting a head in where it hurts.
"If they do they will find themselves sitting with me, because I want players putting their bodies on the line for this club.
"Blades fans like their team to be up and at the opposition, showing commitment and I want our lads to play at a high tempo.
"That applies to training as well and to be fair everyone seems to be responding."
