Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell has revealed he won't consider shaping his squad for next season until he knows where his own future lies.
Blackwell was handed a short-term contract until the end of the season when he returned to Bramall Lane to replace former boss Bryan Robson in February.
The former Blades number two has revived the fortunes of the squad and moved them to the fringes of the play-off places, but has yet to be told whether he will be offered a longer term contract.
"I don't think it would be right of me to make any decisions until I know what I am going to be doing myself," the former Leeds and Luton boss told the Sheffield Star.
"It wouldn't be proper to start looking at other people's futures until my own becomes clearer - that includes people coming in and people who might be going out as well."
