Blackwell targets midfielder

Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell is on the lookout for a creative player to boost his midfield options at Bramall Lane.

The Blades manager refuses to be drawn on the identity of his top target, but is certain of the qualities that the player will need to add to his squad.

He told the Sheffield Star: "I'm looking for a certain type of player to do a certain type of job, but there's not a named individual.

"There is, however, a role we are looking for within the club.

"And until we can find the right player then we will not speculate on the money."
