Blackwell ready to pounce on Tigers

Published: 23 Feb 2009 - 16:15:00

Kevin Blackwell feels Sheffield United "have got nothing to lose" when they take on Hull on Thursday in their FA Cup fifth-round replay at the KC Stadium. The two sides were locked at 1-1 in the initial tie at Bramall Lane nine days ago when Hull defender Kamil Zayatte cancelled out Greg Halford's opener and Blackwell quickly switched his focus on to the replay after his side's 2-2 draw at Plymough on Saturday. Blackwell said: "Now it's up to Hull in the FA Cup, let's go and enjoy it. "We've got nothing to lose. We are slightly down on numbers, but if the lads show that sort of spirit then we will be ok." Blackwell added his players were in good heart following the draw at Home Park. He said: "We didn't come here to sit back that's for sure. You have got to give us credit as the away team for that. It made for a great game, end-to-end stuff and we have got a confidence and belief about ourselves."
