Blackwell keen to keep Kyle

Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell concedes that he may find it had to keep Kyle Naughton at Bramall Lane.

The defender, who won his first England Under-21 cap in Tuesday's 2-0 victory against the Czech Republic, has already been linked with Aston Villa, Arsenal and Manchester City.

The Blades are keen to hang on to one of their best young players, although Blackwell said: "With every game people are becoming more and more aware of Kyle and, of course, that includes people from other teams.

"But it doesn't bother us or Kyle. It's part and parcel of what we'd expect.

"He's played in some massive games already and he's shown terrific maturity."
