Blackwell hails Blades' starlets

Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell thought his side thoroughly deserved to reach this season's Championship play-off final.
The Blades sealed their place at Wembley later this month by beating Preston North End 2-1 on aggregate thanks to a Greg Halford goal in Monday's second leg at Bramall Lane.
"I thought it was a deserved win. I thought the players were magnificent tonight," said Blackwell.
"We were relentless but at one point I thought we weren't going to get the goal. But it came and it was a very good goal and Greg took it well.
"These games are all about big characters but I think the youngsters really came of age tonight without question."
