Blackwell: Injuries not serious

The Blades ran out 1-0 winners against Floriana on Friday night thanks to Brian Howard's 15th-minute penalty. But new signing Williamson limped off with a slight back strain while trialist Gray took a blow to an ankle. Blackwell told the club's official website: "Both knocks are not too serious and it makes sense to be cautious and withdraw injured players before further damage is risked. "There were one or two nasty challenges as both teams wanted to win but it is always a relief as a manager to get through these fixtures without serious mishap."
