Beattie extends his stay

James Beattie has prolonged his stay at Sheffield United until the end of the season...
Beattie, who is currently serving a three-match ban for a red card he recieved in the top of the table clash at Charlton last week, joined the club for the second time in his career in November and has since made seven substitute appearances.
Danny Wilson commented: "For him to choose us has meant a massive lift for everybody.
"He's very excited about it, the opportunities for him to go elsewhere have been vast."
