Bartley joins Blades

Sheffield United have signed Kyle Bartley on a 93-day loan deal from Arsenal.The 18-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Bolton in 2007, will provide some much-needed competition in the Blades back-line following the departures of Kyle Walker and Matt Kilgallon and the recent injury to Chris Morgan.Manager Kevin Blackwell told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have got him, he's got the right calibre even though making his league debut with a new club at such a young age will be a big challenge for him."
