Wood: We'll kick on next season
The Owls finished 12th this season with Wood making 43 appearances - a tally bettered only by ever-present goalkeeper Lee Grant.
And with manager Brian Laws being given an increased budget for his summer recruitment, last season's on-field captain is confident the team can improve next term.
He told the club's official website: "The season was a great experience for me but then it was for the team as a whole.
"We've shown what a good team we are and a really good team effort. That's from the strikers through to the midfielders and defenders, and of course, Granty.
"The gaffer has said he is working hard to bring in some new players so everything is in place for a good season next year."
