Chairman Lee Strafford and chief executive Nick Parker, appointed to the board in January with a view to attracting new investors to the club, have outlined their blueprint, which includes an increased wage budget next season and a top-six finish.[LNB]A club statement read: "The business plan is based on increasing revenue streams for the club by improving the way we work and the services we offer as well as bringing the 'Wednesday family' together. It is a blueprint for what we want to achieve and how we expect to achieve it.[LNB]"This plan has also been used as a tool in making Sheffield Wednesday a more attractive proposition for potential investors - this process continues and any new investment would simply accelerate the club's three-year business plan. The main driver for our business plan is an incremental increase in season-ticket sales over the next three years, accompanied by larger matchday attendances, thus widening matchday revenue streams.[LNB]"On top of this, every department within the club has been and continues to develop long-term strategies to increase income and improve the customer experience at Hillsborough."[LNB]The statement added: "We will increase the budget available to Brian Laws considerably next season while upgrading many other aspects of the club and we are able to do this by increasing the turnover considerably, thus being able to reinvest more money into the club."[LNB][LNB]
