Tykes ease past Owls
Goals from Martin Devaney and Goran Lovre earned Barnsley a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in a pre-season friendly at Oakwell.
Devaney opened the scoring in the sixth minute when he rifled home from 12 yards after being set up by Lovre.
Lovre then started and finished a fine flowing move in the 68th minute to double the Tykes` lead with a Tommy Miller header which sailed over the crossbar the closest the Owls came to a goal.
