Marcus Tudgay insists Sheffield Wednesday must be more ruthless if they are to avoid relegation from the Coca-Cola Championship. The Owls dropped into the bottom three on Monday after losing to Bristol City and face a tricky trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday. Former Derby striker Tudgay knows time is running out for Wednesday but he remains optimistic they can avoid the drop. Tudgay told the club`s official website: "Middlesbrough are obviously a big club and it was only last season when they were playing in the Premiership. "But we've got to forget about that and focus on what we need to do, which is get three points. "I don't think the performances have been bad of late, we have been difficult to beat and now it's just a matter of taking our chances."
