Sodje hit by further injury blow
The 29-year-old missed the weekend draw at Watford after sustaining a groin injury in training and is back on the treatment table ahead of the Owls' run-in.
Sodje had appeared on the substitutes' bench in Wednesday's two previous matches after nearly four months out due to a knee injury.
Manager Brian Laws said: "It is a blow for Akpo. He was getting fit and playing for the reserves. Everything was looking good for him."
Sodje missed the final three months of last season after undergoing ankle surgery and has made only eight appearances for Laws' side this time around.
Michael Gray is also an early doubt for the weekend fixture after being forced off at Watford with an injured shoulder.
