Callum McManaman in contention for Sheffield Wednesday debut against Wolves

Sheffield Wednesday's new loan signing Callum McManaman is hoping to make his debut for the club in the home game against Wolves.

McManaman has joined the Owls on loan from West Brom until the end of the season and is now available.

Fernando Forestieri will be assessed after missing Saturday's draw at Preston due to a muscle strain, but head coach Carlos Carvalhal is expecting the striker to return to contention.

Midfielder Kieran Lee is also hoping to back after missing the last two games due to an on-going hip problem.

Wolves boss Paul Lambert is likely to freshen his team up given the short turnaround between fixtures.

Lambert was pleased with his side's performance in their 2-1 home defeat to QPR on Saturday.

But the Scot said it was impossible for everyone to play again 48 hours later after the energy expended.

Joe Mason and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson are poised to offer fresh legs in attack, while Dominic Iorfa and George Saville provide options elsewhere.
