Reda set for Owls start

Sheffield Wednesday defender Reda Johnson is expected to make his first start of the season against Millwall.

Johnson has been struggling with tendonitis, but made his first appearance this term off the bench in last week's derby draw at Leeds and his inclusion could mean a role further forward in midfield for the versatile Jeremy Helan.

Winger Jermaine Johnson sits out the final game of his three-match ban and both midfielder Kieran Lee (hip surgery) and defender Joe Mattock (knee) remain sidelined.

Chris Maguire and Atdhe Nuhiu hope to start again up front, but manager Dave Jones has the option of playing Michail Antonio in a more central role with summer signing Jacques Maghoma on the right wing.

Liam Trotter and David Forde are Millwall's only absentees.

Midfielder Trotter is back in full training following a summer knee operation but will not be risked yet.

Goalkeeper Forde is also recovering from knee surgery and is due back in training next week, so Stephen Bywater continues between the posts in the meantime.

Boss Steve Lomas will consider making changes as he bids to end his side's goal drought - they have yet to find the net this season - so former Middlesbrough striker Scott McDonald could be handed his full debut.
