Duo in Wednesday frame Sheffield Wednesday pair Gary Madine and Joe Mattock are both hoping to shake off a virus in time for the derby clash with Leeds. The Owls squad has been hit by a bug this week with striker Madine and right-back Mattock the latest to be affected, but manager Dave Jones has no new injury or suspension problems. Defender Reda Johnson will be sidelined for a further four to six weeks with the foot injury that has forced him to miss the last five matches, while midfielder Chris Lines remains sidelined with a groin injury. Kieran Lee (foot) came through a behind-closed-doors friendly unscathed in midweek and is expected to be back in contention. Manager Dave Jones must decide whether to stick with a 4-3-3 formation, leaving Chris O'Grady on his own up front with Jay Bothroyd out wide on the right, or revert back to a 4-4-2. Wednesday, who have taken only one point from their last seven league matches, face their Yorkshire rivals for the first time in over five years. Leeds' latest signing Ryan Hall will go straight into the squad. The 24-year-old former Southend winger has signed on loan until January with a view to a permanent deal. Manager Neil Warnock has injury concerns over Michael Tonge and Rudy Austin, who are both doubtful, but fellow midfielders David Norris and Paul Green are both available. Tonge sustained a shoulder injury in the recent win over Barnsley, while Austin, who has been on international duty with Jamaica, has been carrying an ankle injury. Norris returned to the bench against Barnsley following a torn thigh muscle and was a replacement for Tonge early in the second half, while Green, sidelined since mid-August with a knee injury, was an unused substitute in the same match. Warnock has no other new injury or suspension issues, but striker Ross McCormack remains sidelined with an ankle injury as Leeds look to extend their unbeaten league run to five matches.
