Same again for Owls

Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones will select his starting line-up to face Ipswich from an unchanged squad.

Several players are nursing bumps and bruises following the midweek draw at Brighton and Jones might make one or two changes as his side chase their first win of the season.

Defender Lewis Buxton returned from a knee injury in midweek and on-loan Hull striker Matty Fryatt scored in his first start. Both players are expected to resume at the weekend.

Skipper Anthony Gardner (Achilles) remains a long-term absentee and striker Chris Maguire continues to work his way back to full match fitness following a toe injury.

Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is expected to name an unchanged side for the trip.

Striker Daryl Murphy, who scored twice in Town's 4-4 draw with Derby in midweek, is likely to keep his place up front alongside September's Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month David McGoldrick.

Defender Tyrone Mings was named on the bench at Pride Park following his recovery from the knee injury that has kept him out since the opening day of the season. He could play some part against the Owls.

The Tractor Boys, who sit 10th in the league, are still looking for their first away win of the season.
